Every year, we choose a number of organisations to support. This year we are supporting the three listed below:

• Headway Leicester - who provide therapies to rehabilitate peolpe with aquired brain injuries .
• Local Emergency 1st Responders - who assist Para-Medics
• Coping with Cancer - Who we have recently supported with a generous cheque

In addition, we also support other local good causes.We have:

• Given grants to local young people to help them give service. The most recent being to a member of the Girl Guide movement who is going to their international Centre at Sangam in India. While there she will be helping local Children's charities, learning about children's rights and participating in a Community Action Project with Local children.
• Supported many young children in various projects.
• Our own Father Christmas, who visits the local Hospital on Christmas Day and chats to all the patients and gives them a box of chocolates
• Helped set up the local talking newspaper
• Collected and still actively collect, used spectacles which are sent to a centre in the UK, where they are sorted and further sent to the developing world to help with sight problems.
• Organised yearly, a Swimming Gala for the Disabled.
• Organised fun trips for the students of the Dorothy Goodman Special School and children from Menphys Nursery to the Ashby Statutes Fair, where they get free rides, pop-corn, candy floss, etc. and a goody bag to take home.
